Adidas Originals and Bad Bunny introduce the next release of their longstanding partnership with the latest collaborative sneaker: the Gazelle San Juan. Bringing a new spin to the iconic Gazelle silhouette, the style is a tribute to Benito’s native Puerto Rico, embodying the roots of the island, its culture and its streets.
The Gazelle San Juan celebrates the Puerto Rican heritage and pride present in Benito, and in boricuas around the world. Inspired by the colors of the capital's historic cobblestones, the sea and the beach, as well as the Noche de San Juan, the silhouettes bring the essence of the island to the world.
It is the same Puerto Rican pride that inspired Gazelle San Juan that empowers composer and producer Mike Amadeo, who runs New York's oldest music store. Since its opening in 1941, the store has been a meeting point for artists, keeping boricua culture alive and connecting new generations with its origins.
Designed with the tones of the capital, the new drop takes, as a starting point, the rituals of the Noche de San Juan and Benito's inherent irreverence, present from the exclusive suede toe cap to the size tag.
With a range of sizes for each member of your crew, this release is the latest creation from adidas x Bad Bunny. The shoe will be available at select retailers starting June 23rd, coinciding with Noche and Día de San Juan.
